We believe the holiday season should be joyful and inclusive for everyone. Lyon County Heart to Heart is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We actively work to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What We Do
- Maintain sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements so that content is readable for users with low vision or color blindness.
- Provide descriptive alternative text for all meaningful images and photographs.
- Structure pages with semantic HTML and clear headings so screen readers and keyboard navigation work predictably.
- Ensure all forms — including our online holiday registration — can be completed using only a keyboard and are labeled for assistive technology.
- Offer an alternative downloadable PDF registration form for those who prefer or require a printed option.

If you have difficulty using our website or completing the online registration form, we are happy to help you in another way. While registrations are not taken over the phone, you may print and mail/drop off a completed PDF form, or call us for assistance with the online form.
